Bring your mechanical design expertise to a facility-focused role in Naples, FL, where advanced milling and air classification projects directly improve high-wear, high-throughput processing equipment. This Senior Mechanical Engineer opportunity combines hands-on engineering with global collaboration to support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and standardization across operations. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Mechanical Engineer position include: 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience in industrial equipment design Must have industrial milling, comminution, size reduction, air classification, powder processing, bulk solids, mineral processing, or related heavy equipment experience Lead the mechanical design and development of advanced milling and air classification systems Design rotating equipment including mills, classifiers, conveying systems, feeders, and auxiliary process equipment Develop complete 3D assemblies, fabrication drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation; interpret GD&T Support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and optimization of processing equipment Conduct root cause failure analyses and implement long-term mechanical improvements Proficiency with SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar 3D CAD software; travel domestically and internationally as projects require
Salary:
$180,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
