Job Type:
Full-Time, 12-Month Contract What You'll Do In this role, you will: Design moderately complex structural components and functional systems Apply engineering principles and analytical methods to solve design challenges Interpret requirements and define materials and system specifications Develop and refine engineering designs based on preliminary concepts Produce and release design data after review Document all design activities and ensure compliance with specifications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve designs Provide recommendations to enhance processes and performance Respond effectively to project needs and technical inquiries What You Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 2+ years of experience , or a Master's degree in Engineering Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance. Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Working knowledge of CAD software Knowledge of ASME Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) Preferred Qualifications Active Security Clearance Experience working with NX CAD software Knowledge of machine shop fabrication processes and additive manufacturing Understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) Experience with metallic structures and composites Willingness and ability to travel as needed Why Join Us At PDS Tech Commercial, we connect top engineering talent with world-class organizations shaping the future of aviation. Pay Details:
