Job Description

Senior Mechanical Engineer - Commercial / Industrial / Institutional ProjectsMarietta, GA | HybridA well‑established engineering firm in the Marietta area is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (PE) with strong plumbing and HVAC design experience to support a growing portfolio of commercial, industrial, healthcare, and institutional projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys technical leadership, project ownership, and working closely with multi‑discipline teams.

What You'll Do
  • Lead mechanical and plumbing system design for a variety of building types
  • Oversee HVAC, hydronic, sanitary, domestic water, medical gas, and specialty system layouts
  • Serve as the engineering lead on projects, coordinating with in‑house architectural and MEP teams
  • Review drawings, specifications, and calculations to ensure quality and code compliance
  • Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery from concept through construction
  • Interface with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders to manage scope and schedulesWhat We're Looking For
  • 6+ years of mechanical engineering experience
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Strong plumbing system design experience
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Ability to manage projects, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
