Job Overview Overview:
Seeking a Senior Engineer with strong mentorship capability to support and guide junior engineers. This is a senior-level technical role focused on design engineering, standards application, and plant walkdowns within a nuclear plant environment. 4
Openings:
Mechanical Engineers - 2 openings (priority focus) Electrical / I&C Engineers - 2 openings Hiring Manager preference: Strong preference for Mechanical Engineers with design engineering experience ( He can hire all 4 mechanical ) Looking for senior/mentor-level talent rather than individual contributors only
Required Experience:
10+ years of engineering experience Strong design engineering background Experience applying industry standards Experience performing field walkdowns Ability to mentor and support newer engineers
Preferred Backgrounds:
Nuclear industry experience highly desired Candidates from Navy nuclear, aerospace, or heavy industrial environments are also acceptable
Education:
Degree is preferred but not mandatory Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification is highly preferred
Pay:
$50.00 - $55.00 per hour
