full-time Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong commitment to fostering and maintaining a proactive safety culture. Experience coordinating with contractors, including vendor selection and contract negotiations. Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities. Hands-on experience with continuous improvement and root cause analysis methodologies, including 8D, Six Sigma, PFMEA, DMAIC , and similar problem-solving tools. Experience managing departmental budgets, including material and labor costs. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CAD software . Key Responsibilities Support manufacturing operations through machine and process improvement initiatives. Lead and coordinate equipment relocation and installation projects by developing installation drawings and providing technical guidance to maintenance teams and contractors. Facilitate meetings with contractors to review project requirements, specifications, and engineering drawings. Obtain project quotes, evaluate proposals, and serve as the primary point of contact for contractors and vendors. Procure parts, materials, and supplies required for project execution. Create, update, and maintain CAD drawings, work orders, contractor documentation, and related project records. Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and external contractors to ensure successful project completion. Participate in project planning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities. Maintain a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, factory equipment, and machine shop operations. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management.
