In this role, you will bridge the gap between conceptual design and manufacturing implementation, ensuring our engineering projects meet rigorous performance standards and market demands. Responsibilities Direct the design and development of intricate mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software like SolidWorks or Catia. Drive product reliability by overseeing FEA-based stress and thermal analysis to validate design integrity. Lead the end-to-end execution of testing protocols, from small-scale component trials to large-scale performance evaluations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors to streamline material procurement and design implementation. Mentor and supervise junior engineering staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and project accountability. Present technical solutions and product capabilities directly to clients to address complex project requirements. Develop and maintain comprehensive material specifications to ensure consistent quality across all production lines. Qualifications Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in heavy-duty vehicle or trailer engineering. Proven track record of managing engineering teams and complex project lifecycles. Strong proficiency in FEA methods and mechanical design software. Ability to travel periodically to support manufacturing plant operations. Preferred Skills Experience in developing new product methods and material innovations. Strong background in client-facing technical presentations and sales support. Expertise in navigating poorly defined project requirements to deliver actionable engineering solutions.
