We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Engineer to join our team. This role supports the delivery of the Hilo Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Project , a landmark six-year infrastructure program that will benefit the Hawaiʻi Island community for generations. Working alongside experienced industry professionals, you will gain hands-on experience in construction management, contract administration, scheduling, cost control, and project coordination while contributing to the successful delivery of a complex wastewater treatment facility. JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, or related Engineering field. Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or engineering. 5 years of experience in construction or engineering preferred. CCM and or P.E. preferred, but not required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam Revu, Adobe Acrobat, Primavera P6, and MS Project. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contracts. Willingness to travel to job sites and work in varied field conditions.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provide technical support throughout all phases of the project. Review and process RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Maintain accurate project documentation and logs. Conduct site visits and inspections. Collaborate with field inspectors and project teams. Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports. Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking. Ensure compliance with safety standards and permitting requirements.
