Summary:
The role of the Construction MEP Engineer requires strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, ability to self-direct, strong background in data center design, engineering, controls, and operational requirements, and deep experience and expertise in electrical and mechanical systems. This role will provide leadership of all field-related MEP mission-critical activities and coordinate with DCD PM and subcontractors for proper execution. Job Responsibilities Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines, and other MEP devices. Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendations to the maintenance crew. Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment, or software. Skills Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving ability. Team player and detail-oriented. Ability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Previous experience with computer applications and software related to the engineering field, such as Computer-Aided Design (CAD). Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering required. 10+ years of experience required. Salary and Other Compensation:
The salary for this position is between $175,000 - $195,000 USD annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
