With installations in over 20 countries, PTi continues to successfully supply extrusion equipment to industries in packaging, construction, automotive, lawn & garden, office products, sign & display, appliances and much more. Responsibilities Design of mechanical systems including power transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics, and water temperature control systems; determining machining tolerances; conducting strength analysis; providing project related drawings and BOMs for manufacture; providing customers with approval and installation drawings and equipment manuals; performing equipment tests and resolving technical issues; maintaining project files. This position reports to the Mechanical Engineering Supervisor.
Requirements Successful candidate must possess:
BSME with 1-3 years minimum applicable experience Proficiency in the following: SolidWorks, CAD and Microsoft Office Applications Excellent working knowledge of power transmissions, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining tolerances, heat transfer, strength analysis a plus.
