Strong understanding of 3-D modeling using Solidworks Soildworks VAR training preferred CSWA or CSWP Certification preferred 2-4 years work experience with Solidworks Ability to create drawings using Cadkey or DraftSight a plus Basic understanding of Made2Manage or other MRP system Understanding of basic design elements for centrifugal and axial blowers, or rotating equipment, a plus Strong understanding of document control practices Strong understanding of Engineering change control Working knowledge of metal fabrication processes Working knowledge of welding processes and documentation to AWS or ASME requirements Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office 2-4 year degree preferred
Job Description:
Use solid modeling to create and maintain engineering drawings Create, check and maintain bills of materials in Made2Manage MRP system Work with Project Manager to oversee schedules and communicate with customer Interact with Purchasing to provide drawings and specifications Interact with Manufacturing to provide technical support Process Engineering changes notices Review and interpret customer specifications and support sales Interact with Quality to ensure customer requirements are met
