Senior Mechanical Engineer Location:

Salary:

$150,000 - $160,000/year What you will be doing: Provide senior mechanical engineering and design leadership to the local Mechanical team and the national team. Lead projects and represent the Mechanical discipline during client meetings. Provide mentorship and guidance to Mechanical engineers and designers. Develop and manage project work plans. Be responsible for system selections, basis of design, and the quality of work product. Attend project meetings and communicate effectively with project team members. Coordinate mechanical/plumbing design with other project disciplines and the Project Manager. Provide construction phase support, including submittal review and RFI responses. Maintain and develop mechanical/plumbing standards in collaboration with senior engineering staff. Assist the Mechanical Director with mechanical/plumbing work product quality control. Serve as a senior mechanical engineering and design resource, providing assistance and guidance to project engineers and designers in both HVAC and plumbing design. Confer openly and directly in a respectful and professional manner with other personnel to clarify or resolve problems and develop design.

Experience you will need:

8+ years of focused mechanical/plumbing design experience. Mechanical Engineering Professional license. Experience in all aspects of design and documentation. Leading-edge commercial project experience. Proficiency in Revit and the Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Trane Trace load calculation software. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the general public. #

Nonit Pay:

$140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
