Job Description
This role requires frequent travel (approximately 50-75%, primarily field-based) to customer sites across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and occasionally Japan; Spanish language skills are a plus. Position Summary The Service Engineer is responsible for installing, repairing, and troubleshooting high-precision machine tools and related equipment. This role also supports the sales team by providing technical expertise and assisting customers with product-related inquiries. $55K-$75K + overtime pay Responsibilities Troubleshoot machine issues and product-related problems Travel to customer sites for installation and preventive maintenance Respond to customer inquiries and resolve technical issues Analyze problems and determine appropriate solutions Support the sales team with product demonstrations and technical information Prepare and share service reports after customer visits Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
