Mechanical Engineer

Job Title:

Mechanical Engineer Mechanical Engineer Designs and supports testing of motors and motor-driven systems for aerospace and military applications. Focuses on building test setups, validating performance, and ensuring safety and reliability. Key Responsibilities Design and build motor test fixtures and test stands Perform motor and controller testing to verify performance Support dynamometer testing and data collection Apply GD&T and create manufacturing drawings Analyze motor performance (torque, speed, power) Troubleshoot and refine test setups Ensure safety compliance and document results Collaborate with Electrical Engineers and support multiple projects Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Park Ridge, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
