Job Description

Jan Metals is searching for a Junior Engineer - Entry Level for their manufacturing environment. Jan Metals is family-oriented, and prides itself in recognizing its employees for their hard work. Junior Engineer responsibilities:
Creates CAD models of components using current and accepted practices and procedures. Designs die castings, sand castings, permanent mold casting, extrusions, and injection molded parts along with associated drawings. Designs sheet metal components, brackets, and other parts along with associated drawings. Creates other detailed component drawings. Manages various projects as assigned. Confers with engineering and other staff to determine design modifications for product improvement. Creates and/or modifies BOM assemblies. ? Issues ECN's as required for drawings, parts and BOM changes. Creates shop assembly and customer installation instructions.
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering Internship experience to 0-2 years of experience Proficient computer skills in Creo or SolidWorks, Excel, Word, and Outlook Excel Macros, Access database knowledge Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation), particularly with Production Operations and Program Offices Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize assignments
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $91,000.00 per year
