Our engineering team operates at the intersection of advanced materials, high-pressure systems, and scalable manufacturing. We are building a team of engineers who take pride in craftsmanship, rigor, and continuous improvement. The Role We are seeking a driven Mechanical Engineer to contribute to both product development and manufacturing optimization. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will directly impact product performance and production efficiency. You'll work closely with experienced engineers and production teams to design, test, and refine systems that operate at tight tolerances and high throughput. What You'll Do- Support setup, optimization, and troubleshooting of high-speed loading machines (including Alpha loaders or similar systems)
- Design and iterate mechanical components, tooling, and fixtures used in ammunition production
- Support new product development from concept through validation and release
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in production equipment with urgency and precision
- Partner with manufacturing and quality teams to improve process capability and yield
- Develop detailed CAD models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement robust corrective actions
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers on component design and sourcing What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
- 3-6 years of experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or product development
- Strong proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks or similar)
- Solid understanding of machining processes, materials, and tolerancing
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot real-world mechanical systems
- Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
- Experience working with or supporting automated or semi-automated loading/assembly equipment
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues in high-speed, precision production systems Preferred Experience
- High-volume or precision manufacturing environments
- GD&T and basic statistical process control
- Exposure to high-pressure systems or dynamic mechanical environments
