Job Description Drive end-to-end product development efforts, converting market needs and customer requirements into commercially successful, manufacturable security products. Develop, administer, and optimize product configurator models, rules, and logic to streamline quoting, configuration, and order-entry processes. Create, verify, and standardize installation guides, technical documentation, user manuals, and product communications for internal stakeholders and field personnel. Direct the design and engineering of sophisticated mechanical systems from concept through production, balancing performance, manufacturability, quality, and cost objectives. Coach and support junior engineers, designers, and technicians through technical mentorship, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage cross-functional development teams while leading design reviews and translating customer expectations into clear engineering requirements and executable project plans. Conduct detailed structural and load analyses, perform finite element simulations, select appropriate materials, and implement Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) best practices. The Successful Applicant Strong mechanical and structural experuence with a problem-solving and soltution-driven thinking Ability to manage complex NPD engineering projects (Short and Long Term) Engineering Degree Required - Mechanical preferred 10+ years of relevant mechanical design experuence - Metals manufacturing strongly preferred Knowledge of measurement toos, GD&T, FEA, etc. 5-10+ years of New Product Development Strong experience with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor Knoweldge of ERP and Microsoft Suite, and Project management tools What's on Offer Salary 130,000-145,000 Target Bonus Profit Sharing 10% 401k Match Medical/Dental/Vision Plans Other ancillary benefits 3 weeks PTO
