What You'll Do As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and improve innovative training systems that bring complex industrial concepts to life. Key Responsibilities Design and develop new products from concept through production launch Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Curriculum teams to deliver customer-focused solutions Ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, reliable, and competitive in the marketplace Improve existing products through redesigns, upgrades, component substitutions, and cost-reduction initiatives Process and implement Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) Create, maintain, and update CAD models, technical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) Support prototype development, testing, and product validation activities Contribute ideas that enhance product performance, user experience, and educational value What You'll Bring - Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience with mechanical design principles and engineering best practices Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with automation systems and industrial equipment Knowledge of fluid power systems (hydraulics and pneumatics) Familiarity with HVAC or refrigeration systems Experience supporting products from concept through manufacturing Why Amatrol?
