Full Job Description Job Summary:
As a Junior Mechanical Engineer at MKS Vision Group, you will work closely with senior engineers and product development teams on a wide range of engineering tasks. You will be responsible for supporting product design, prototyping, testing, and general engineering work across various stages of development. Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development, and optimization of mechanical components and systems for new products. Support the creation of detailed CAD models and engineering drawings using [CAD software, e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD]. Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to ensure product performance, reliability, and manufacturability. Participate in prototype development, assembly, and testing to validate product designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product management, quality assurance, and manufacturing) to ensure successful product development. Assist with product lifecycle management, including updating documentation, conducting design reviews, and performing revision control. Help troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to prototypes and production equipment. Assist in preparing and reviewing technical documentation, such as design specifications, reports, and presentations. Support testing and validation activities to ensure that products meet required performance and safety standards. Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
