Job Description

Key Responsibilities Perform engineering-based field tasks including electrical installation support, HVAC system deployment, equipment mounting, and mechanical assembly. Apply engineering principles to wiring and breaker sizing, load calculations, and NEC compliance. Review installation quality, torque checks, labeling, equipment startup conditions, and compliance with engineering drawings. Diagnose electrical faults, HVAC performance issues, and startup irregularities; coordinate corrective actions with internal teams and subcontractors. Prepare engineering field reports, redlines, installation photos, test logs, and commissioning notes. Work with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and suppliers to ensure safe, compliant, and timely execution. Follow OSHA, NEC, and FASCore safety protocols; enforce lockout/tagout and PPE requirements. Requirements Authorized to work in the United States under OPT (Optional Practical Training) eligibility. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering , Mechatronics , HVAC Engineering , Industrial Engineering , or Engineering Technology . Strong bilingual communication skills (English + Chinese preferred). Solid understanding of wiring sizing, breaker selection, conductor ampacity, and NEC compliance. Familiarity with HVAC fundamentals including airflow, refrigeration cycles, equipment startup, and basic commissioning. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (electrical one-lines, mechanical schematics). Strong engineering judgment and troubleshooting capability. Detail-oriented, responsible, and capable of strong execution and problem-solving. FASCore will pay the training costs associated with Journeyman and Master Technician licensing, coursework, and required examinations. Professional Development & Training Partnership FASCore partners with experienced Master Technicians, Project Managers, and Licensed Professional Engineers (PEs) to provide structured on-site guidance, technical mentorship, and engineering career development support. FASCore's Human Resources Manager oversees a formal engineering development and training program, ensuring each OPT candidate has a clear, progressive career path: Entry Engineer → Field Engineer → Project Engineer → Senior Engineer → PE-Track Roles OPT candidates may transition to long-term engineering employment upon successful performance and visa eligibility.

$60,000.00 - $78,000.00 per year
