• JOB SUMMARY
• Research & Development engineers, develop new products, redesign existing products, and perform research and testing on product concepts\.

R D engineers work in a collaborative environment that includes other engineers, marketing professionals, and manufacturers\. R D engineers assignments are executed under the direction of the R D Supervisor/Manager with an emphasis on meeting and/or exceeding customer requirements\.

• JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• + R D engineers work many different software programs; such as, Catia V5, V6 and other related\. + Manages the planning, development, and execution of important engineering projects\. + Coordinates with both internal customers as well as multiple outside suppliers to ensure Design for Manufacturability, cost, and schedule goals are met\. + Uses advanced engineering principles and problem
• solving capabilities to provide technical solutions for a wide range of tasks\. + Design and build prototypes of system components for testing\. + Develop required test procedures and coordinate testing with other applicable groups\. + Works well in a cross
• functional and diverse team environment + Ability to successfully navigate through ambiguity\.

+ Acts as liaison with representatives outside of the assigned group/area\.

+ Drives improvements to daily processes and ensures all work meets or exceeds customer requirements\.

+ Maintains a current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related aircraft fields in order to recommend innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of company products and processes\.

• + Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in:
• Engineering
• Industrial Design
• Other related technical field
• EXPERIENCE
• + Professional and diplomatic demeanor + Strong sense of accountability and integrity + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Time management skills to support multiple concurrent projects + Ability to deal with change and work in a dynamic environment + Proficient in use of standard Microsoft Office programs + Experience in CATIA is preferred

• Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late

• August lasting 10 weeks\.
