Mechanical Field Engineer Location:
Georgetown KY About the role: Our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Field Engineer, ready to bring their skills, experience, and energy to a great, growing team. What you'll be doing Facilitating mechanical building system startups and commissioning activities. Providing subject matter expert assistance in reviewing product and equipment submittals, shop drawings, engineering design drawings, and specifications, as well as contractor RFIs. Coordinating equipment factory testing, delivery, installation, commissioning, and handover to end-users. Conducting work progress inspections on a continuous basis. Supporting construction administration activities such as scheduling, quality confirmations, coordination meetings, and utility outages. The right person has 10+ years of experience in industrial or commercial construction projects. Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods. Proficiency in drawing review and field application abilities. OSHA 10 certification. Experience in mechanical system design criteria development. Good organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam .
