Job Description
We're seeking a Lead Engineer who excels both hands‑on and in guiding a small technical team. This is a true player‑coach role: you'll work directly on complex technical challenges while setting direction, developing talent, and ensuring high‑quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead a small engineering team — mentor, set expectations, and foster a collaborative environment Drive projects end‑to‑end — from initial assessment and design through final delivery Coordinate across departments — act as the technical link ensuring clarity and alignment Troubleshoot and repair complex systems — including mechanical, electrical, and rotating equipment Develop and review technical documentation — drawings, schematics, and supporting materials Improve processes and quality — continuously refine workflows and team capabilities Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or related engineering field 5+ years of engineering experience Background in hands‑on technical environments preferred Technical Skills Hands‑on work with mechanical and electrical systems Proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, NX, or similar) Ability to interpret drawings and schematics Practical experience with maintenance and troubleshooting Leadership Skills Proven success leading technical projects Strong communicator across teams and with customers Self‑driven, improvement‑oriented mindset #JDP By providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
