We currently have an opportunity for a Co-Op Mechanical Engineer student to join our CO-OP program at our manufacturing plant in Louisville, KY .Responsibilities:
The Co-Op Mechanical Engineer provides an opportunity for a currently enrolled Mechanical Engineering student to apply classroom learning through paid work terms at the Louisville, KY manufacturing plant. The position works closely with full-time engineers and production personnel to support engineering projects, develop practical solutions, and gain hands-on manufacturing experience. The Co-Op contributes to projects involving engineering drawings and plant engineering issues while developing foundational technical knowledge and professional experience in a manufacturing environment. You Will Have the Opportunity to Make Great Things Happen! Engineering Development Work closely with a full-time engineer learning Mechanical Engineering. Be involved in various projects that are assigned by the engineers and production. Participate in activities that range from doing drawings that fit the project need to solving engineering issues in the plant. Education/Experience Required Present enrollment at the University level majoring in Mechanical Engineering for at least 3 months a year. Preferred Prior work experience is not needed for this position. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to learn and use various tools/equipment including computer programs including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, along with standard engineering measuring devices.
