Bollinger is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Intern for a full-time, on-site summer internship at our Lockport, LA facility. This opportunity is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Ocean Engineering who are eager to apply their academic knowledge in a professional, real-world environment. Key Responsibilities Assist the Engineering department by conducting research and preparing technical documentation. Perform general office tasks with high attention to detail, including organizing reports and maintaining engineering records. Develop and review system diagrams to ensure compliance with vessel specifications and regulatory standards. Conduct basic engineering calculations for system performance and regulatory compliance. Collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, and other personnel to support various projects.

Qualifications Education :

Currently a junior or senior enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, or Ocean Engineering .

Technical Skills :

Basic proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software is a plus.

Soft Skills :

Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive attitude, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
