Full-Time Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer/EIT with 3-5 years of experience to join their Boston team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/mechanical building systems and experience working on commercial, healthcare, higher education, laboratory, or institutional projects. Similar Boston roles emphasize Revit, HVAC design, load calculations, equipment selection, and construction-phase support. Responsibilities Design HVAC and mechanical systems for commercial and institutional buildings. Perform heating/cooling load calculations and equipment sizing. Develop construction documents, specifications, schematics, and system layouts. Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, electrical, and plumbing disciplines. Assist with equipment selection, ductwork, piping, and mechanical system design. Review submittals, RFIs, and contractor questions during construction. Conduct site visits, field surveys, and construction observations. Assist with energy modeling and sustainable design initiatives. Support project managers and senior engineers throughout all project phases. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 3-5 years of mechanical/HVAC design experience. EIT certification required or strongly preferred. Experience with commercial building HVAC/mechanical systems . Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD . Familiarity with ASHRAE, IMC, NFPA, and applicable building codes . Experience with TraneTRACE, HAP, IES VE
, or similar software is a plus. Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills. PE license or active pursuit of PE is a plus #RMIND Pay:
