We are seeking a Senior Test Engineer who will own and drive the test strategy and architecture for complex precision motion and electromechanical systems across the entire product lifecycle. This role goes beyond execution and requires deep technical leadership, system-level thinking, and cross-functional influence. You will define how products are validated, ensure scalability of test solutions, and drive design improvements through data-driven insights. As a senior member of the engineering team, you will act as the subject matter expert in test engineering, influencing product design, mentoring team members, and advancing test methodologies to support innovation, quality, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Define, own, and drive the end-to-end test strategy across product development, validation, and production phases.
- Design and develop scalable automated test solutions, including hardware fixtures and software frameworks, for both development and manufacturing environments.
- Establish and maintain system-level test architectures, protocols, and validation methodologies for complex motion control systems.
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate test results, providing data-driven insights to influence product design and technical decisions.
- Lead cross-functional failure analysis and root cause investigations, driving resolution across electrical, mechanical, and software domains.
- Collaborate with design engineering to implement design-for-testability and improve product robustness and test efficiency.
- Identify technical risks early and develop mitigation strategies through structured testing and rapid prototyping.
- Drive continuous improvement of test processes, focusing on test coverage, cycle time, cost, and product quality.
- Develop and implement advanced test data acquisition, analytics, and digitalization approaches to enhance decision-making.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to test engineers and technicians, supporting skill development and best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert for test engineering, influencing cross-functional stakeholders including R D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management.
- Support production test systems and operations to ensure quality, throughput, and reliability targets are consistently met.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical Engineering, physics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in test engineering or system validation for complex electromechanical systems
- Proven track record of:
- Owning and delivering test strategies for new product development (NPI)
- Developing automated test systems (software + hardware)
- Leading cross-functional technical initiatives Experiences that

- Advanced troubleshooting across electrical, mechanical, and system-level domains
- Experience with Motion Controls, Drives, Motors, Encoders and Power Supplies

- Working knowledge in programming with languages such as C, C++ and/or C#
- Strong expertise in test system architecture and automation
