Single Crystal Diamond is looking for a hands-on electrical engineer who enjoys assembling equipment, solving practical problems, and turning ideas into reliable machines.
If you like working with real hardware, tracing a problem to its source, and seeing your improvements work on the shop floor, we'd like to meet you. What you'll do Assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical and electromechanical equipment. Integrate sensors, motors, power supplies, and control systems. Diagnose problems across electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces. Improve equipment reliability, serviceability, and ease of operation. Create and maintain wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting notes. Work closely with the team to bring equipment improvements from concept through testing. What we're looking for An electrical engineering background with practical hardware experience. Confidence reading schematics and using electrical test equipment. A methodical approach to troubleshooting and safe work habits. Comfort using tools, assembling machines, and working through unfamiliar problems. Clear communication, careful documentation, and ownership of your work. Experience that would stand out Semiconductor equipment or manufacturing. Controls and automation, including PLCs or industrial controllers. Machine building, commissioning, or equipment maintenance. Integrating sensors, motion systems, or data acquisition. CAD, electrical schematic design, or programming for equipment control. You don't need every item on this list. We're especially interested in evidence that you can build, troubleshoot, and improve real equipment. Apply through Indeed with your résumé. Include a few sentences about a machine or hardware project you built, repaired, or improved—your contribution, the hardest problem, and how you solved it. Photos or a portfolio are welcome if you can share them.
