Responsibilities:

Air Clear is seeking a senior project engineer to support project engineering of our Elkton, MD business. The project engineer will be responsible for project execution, generating project documentation and working with our application engineering group to make project decisions related to schedule, budget, purchasing, field construction, and commissioning industrial air pollution control applications around the world.

Essential Functions:

The following is a breakdown of the essential functions of the role

• Customer service to meet customer needs and expectations
• Detailed project engineering on equipment to manage a wide variety of process gas streams, for abatement of airborne VOC and particulate control.
• Basic understanding and managing company sizing sheets for heat and material balances of products
• Strong technical writing skills for proposals and engineering documentation
• Strong presentation and speaking skills
• Ability to redline and coach designers on generating project process flow diagrams, process and instrumentation diagrams, and general arrangement drawings, ability to generate manuals and instrument lists, select process instruments, purchase project components, project financial reporting
• Travel to customer sites and ensure commissioning efforts are successful
• Participating in technical discussions with customers to effectively manage projects
• Ability to find suitable trade partners for various aspects of projects
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and decision-making skills
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Strong background in Thermal Oxidation, Catalytic Oxidation, and Regenerative Thermal Oxidation.
• BASC in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Degree with 5 years' experience working on OEM oxidizing equipment for factories or similar experience.
• Minimum 5 years' experience working in heavy industrial environments.
• 5 Years project engineering experience

$140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
