Job Description

CHIEF ENGINEER
Aerodyne Industries is a dynamic, rapidly growing engineering and information technology services firm headquartered on Florida's exciting Space Coast. Successful candidate is responsible for:
  • Providing technical consultation advice to the project regarding design issues, development and test approaches.
  • Providing expertise in spacecraft test and validation.
  • Providing advanced thermal analysis via the Thermal Desktop software application.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited institution in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent engineering degree or equivalent experience in an engineering field.
  • 20 years or greater of relevant work experience in the analysis, design and development, assembly, integration and testing of thermal systems/subsystems and/or other components for spaceflight hardware.
  • Experience working on NASA spacecraft, or GSFC in-house payload/instrument design, assembly, integration and test programs are required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Have sound organization and troubleshooting skills and understand flight hardware design, test execution, and verification activities.
