Job Description

Overview:
Must be a US Person or Permanent Resident W2 with full benefits Customer and contract specific training will be required and provided. Location - Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Greenbelt, MD (onsite) Offer contingent on ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screen The US base salary range for this full-time position is $70-100K. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position
Responsibilities:
Job Description Inspection of incoming Electrical, Electronic, Electro-mechanical, Electro-optical (EEEE) components Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) including X-Ray Fluorescence, Particle Impact Noise Detection (PIND), Radiographic, Fine/Gross Leak Development and implementation of bias board test circuits; low complexity multilayer Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design and layout Electrical verification of various EEEE parts, including digital, analog, and mixed signal microcircuits, semiconductors, and passives (capacitor, resistor, inductor) using benchtop equipment Test equipment setup, pilot runs, and test monitoring Review and statistical analysis of parametric test data Generation of test reports
Qualifications:
Required Skills/Certs/Etc. A.A.S. degree in electronics, or B.S. Electrical/Electronics Engineering, with a minimum of three years' experience. Demonstrated performance in a quality/reliability laboratory testing environment, handling, testing, and packaging EEEE parts properly. Knowledge of military standards and performance specifications and their requirements Well organized, with the ability to multi-task effectively and keep jobs on schedule Detail oriented, with accurate recording of work performed in digital Work Order system Experienced user of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Demonstrated design of PCBs/experienced in PCB design/layout tools (Altium, or similar) Excellent English communication (verbal and written) skills Desired Skills/Certs/Etc. Previous NASA or military high reliability experience NASA or other ESD certification
