$40 - $42/hour on W2 +

12 Months+ ContractJob Summary We are seeking a Product Engineer General (Fit to Nominal Engineer) to support vehicle launch and quality activities. This role focuses on evaluating vehicle fit and finish, measuring gap and flush conditions, conducting quality audits, and coordinating issue resolution during product launch events. Key Responsibilities Measure interior and exterior vehicle gap and flush conditions. Perform craftsmanship and perceived quality audits. Review dimensional data and identify fit and finish issues. Generate issue reports and coordinate resolution activities. Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and launch teams. Support vehicle launch events and quality reviews. Requirements 3+ years of automotive interior/exterior engineering experience. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Experience with Teamcenter, VisMockup, CATIA, or similar CAD tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Additional Information Hybrid schedule:
4 days onsite per week. Travel required to support launches in Kentucky, Kansas, and Ohio. Long-term contract opportunity.
Pay:
$40.00 - $42.00 per hour
