$35.01/hour Position Overview We are seeking an entry-level Prototype Build Engineer to support prototype vehicle builds, engineering design activities, and supplier coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent engineering graduate with internship or early-career experience who wants to gain hands-on exposure to vehicle development and prototype build processes. Responsibilities Coordinate part procurement and resolve supplier issues across multiple programs. Support prototype design and vehicle build activities. Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs). Develop process sheets and instructions for prototype build operators. Troubleshoot build-floor issues related to quality, engineering design, manufacturing processes, and program timing. Communicate with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams to keep prototype builds on schedule. Prepare presentations, provide project updates, and communicate with management at various levels. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 0-5 years of relevant experience; recent graduates with internship experience are encouraged to apply. Basic understanding of vehicle build processes. Basic knowledge of CATIA V5, NX, and/or Teamcenter. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and program management skills.
