The Thermal Test Group is looking for an engineer with knowledge of Thermal Protection, Heating & Air conditioning, and Powertrain Cooling systems. This engineer will be responsible for performing drive cell tests and assisting with any diagnostic problems associated with the test facility.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate the Thermal Drive Cell Monitor the daily operation and assure that all systems are operating at their maximum capabilities. Participate in Climatic Cell related DFSS studies Track cell utilization through Metrics and SSCA Communicate with all shifts on a daily basis all information pertinent to the operation of the Thermal Test Cell Assure that all required equipment and tools for operating the Thermal Test Cells are available and in stock.

Requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience in testing Demonstrate excellent ability to support, review, analyze, and evaluate various systems operations. Demonstrate ability to communicate to all user's community in written and verbal form

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with thermal development, HVAC, or cooling systems Experience with data acquisition systems and vehicle buss tools INCA Experience with running a thermal drive cell / wind tunnel testing and PLC Experience working with and directing bargaining unit mechanics
