Key Responsibilities:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in automotive product development or VAVE/cost engineering.
Strong understanding of automotive systems:
Underbody and exhaust parts. Excellent knowledge of sheet metal part design Experience with manufacturing processes (Stamping , welding, part assembly). Knowledge of cost breakdown and should-cost analysis. Proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX) and PLM systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers. Familiarity with Ford systems and processes (GPDS, WERS, AIMS). Strong supplier collaboration and negotiation skills. Experience in teardown benchmarking and cost workshops. Analytical thinking and problem-solving Cost optimization mindset Cross-functional collaboration Communication and stakeholder management
