Open to learning new things & developing high-performance products that are ever-improving? Do you want to be at the forefront of engineering in a business always looking for ways to improve its products & offering to customers? We're looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys working in a team to work on custom machinery products from concept to manufacturing. What you'll do: Creating & maintaining technical documentation. Working on prototyping, trouble shooting & design improvements. Work closely with customers to interpret requirements into design. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and develop mechanical systems, components, and products. Design using Solidworks to create detailed 3D models and engineering drawings for manufacturing. Optimize designs for performance, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness while considering regulatory and safety requirements. What you'll need: A background in machinery or tooling. Ideally a background in machining, cutting, grinding & milling. Experience with a 3D CAD software (Solidworks or Inventor) Great communication & background in collaborating with a cross-functional team. Working knowledge of FEA. Experience with GD&T.
