Job Description

The Energy Management Efficiency Synthesis Design Manager is responsible for leading the integration, synthesis, and delivery of Energy Management simulation and validation activities across vehicle programs. This role combines program integration with simulation to ensure vehicles meet Fuel Economy, EV Range, Performance, and Capability targets. The manager leads a team of engineers and oversees cross-functional execution.

Lead vehicle-level Energy Management performance (Fuel Economy, EV range, Longitudinal Performance, Capability)Own program status, risk management, and executive reporting in coordination with EMAT PPL.Lead cross-functional trade-offs balancing efficiency, performance, and compliance. Ensure alignment with Propulsion Systems (calibration, controls, hardware, simulation), Vehicle Synthesis, and Regulatory teams throughout development and validation.

Drive integration of simulation, test data, and engineering targets through deep-dive analysis.

Lead participation in NA Fuel Economy & CO2 Working Group and coordination with TSRCCoordinate with Global EMAT, Propulsion Systems, and Regulatory teams on export programsEnsure compliance with current and emerging regulatory requirementsLead and develop a high-performing team of engineersManage priorities and ensure execution against milestonesFoster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement among team members.

Reinforce existing Energy Management processes and promote development of new methodologies
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering8+ years of experience in vehicle or propulsion system developmentExperience in vehicle Fuel Economy and Performance testing or simulationKnowledge of Fuel Economy / CO2 regulationsDemonstrated leadership capabilityStrong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
