Job Description

The Engineer will be responsible for system and component design and release activities for High Voltage Power Panels and associated hardware. The scope includes both mechanical and electrical/electronic components. Responsibilities encompass endtoend product development, from concept through validation and production release. Key duties include designing components to meet vehicle functional, performance, and packaging requirements using a DFSS methodology; leading DVPdriven product development and validation activities; performing structural engineering analysis; supporting electronic hardware and software validation; and preparing release documentation in alignment with program timing, quality, and cost objectives. The role also supports continuous improvement and costreduction initiatives throughout the product lifecycle. The position requires close collaboration with suppliers and crossfunctional internal teams across Stellantis, including manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and program management, to ensure successful program execution.
Basic Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent majorMinimum of 2 years of engineering experienceExperience in setting and assessing customer (internal/external) level requirementsExperience in constructing component and full vehicle DVP&RExperience with defining functional objectives and constructing DFMEAExperience with NX, Team Center, and change management processesPassion for vehicles and the ability to access full vehicle performance characteristicsAbility to construct work plans to resolve issuesAbility to lead large teams, determine gaps to targets and develop solutions
Preferred Qualifications:
MS in EngineeringCatia V5 or NX trainingHigh Voltage Power Panel or other Mechatronics experienceCandidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, good organization and program management skills, be a strong team player, and have excellent problem-solving skillsExperience designing, developing, and releasing mechanical / electronic componentsAlso desirable are: manufacturing or launch experience, component or system testing, product creation, DFSS (design for six sigma)The Engineer will be responsible for system and component design and release activities for High Voltage Power Panels and associated hardware.
