billion in sales in 2025Job DescriptionSika's Automotive and Industry team in Madison Heights, MI is looking to strengthen its ability to provide customers with adhesive and sealant application equipment support. Therefore, we are looking to fill the position of Adhesive Dispensing Engineer (internally titled Systems Engineer), noting this is NOT an IT role. This Adhesive Dispensing Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, as well as developing robust material dispensing strategies for Sika's bulk dispensed materials."Key Responsibilities:
Work with customers and dispensing equipment vendors to verify Sika product compatibility and or define new equipment requirementsSupport customers with guidance on proper equipment needs and by validating applications through execution of lab testing and dispensing trialsSupport the R& D team by defining existing application methods and by working with vendors to develop new methods and processes for applicationConduct customer site visitsProvide feedback to internal customers (CorporateTD/SENG, R
D, Marketing)Write and communicate technical service reportsMaintain safe and efficient las environmentsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with equipment suppliers Provide training to customers and employeesParticipate in specialized fairs and conferencesAble to travel 30% in support of customer support and launch activitiesQualificationsQualifications/Experience:
