Job duties:
Plan, develop, and implement safety critical passenger vehicle fuel tank system (FTS) component program strategies, source fuel tank systems components, coordinate Tier Two supplier procurement and supply chain activities, verify component compliance with International Automotive Task Force (IATF) quality standards, and support programs throughout product lifecycle for fuel tank systems manufacturing plants in U.S./Mexico. Define and set program prices for passenger vehicle fuel tank systems components including electronic control units (ECUs), ultrasonic temperature level control (UTLC) sensors, fuel delivery modules (FDMs), Adblue Delivery Modules (ADMS), fuel tank shells, heat/thermal shields, clips, plastics, fuel/vaper lines, ICV/ROV valves, and foam pads. Perform, plan, and collaborate with Commodity Buyers, during development, serial production, and service part procurement of fuel tank systems components for three fuel tank systems manufacturing plants for delivery to OEM vehicle assembly plants for current/future vehicle production programs.
Education:
Bachelor, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related.
Experience:
Twenty-four months' experience as Buyer or related, defining and setting program prices for passenger vehicle fuel tank system components including ECUs, UTLC sensors, FDMs, and ADMS, or related.
