Project Engineer

Objective:

Completes engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements.

Essential Functions:

1. Assists with preparation on proposals for systems, as directed by Project Manager. 2. Minimal contact with customer- only directed by Project Manager. 3. Engineering review of jobs, reviewing form, fit and function of components. 4. Write change orders as required. 5. Answer questions for manufacturing personnel during build. 6. Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans, conferring with management 7. Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements, assigning personnel to phases and elements, reviewing bids from contractors. 8. Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards, completing technical studies, preparing cost estimates. 9. Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests. 10. Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements, sequencing project elements. 11. Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, resolving problems Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $50.00 - $52.00
