Mechanical Design Engineer Solidworks

To carry out various design activities pertaining to concept design, design modifications, value engineering, 3D modeling & detailing, coordination with offshore team among others. Good knowledge about sheet metal, machined and casting components manufacturing process. Knowledge of engineering fundamentals of product design & development process. Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up. Very good hands-on experience in using SolidWorks for 3D modeling and detailing. Should have experience in using Design Tables for creating configurations of Parts/ Assemblies. Experience of working in SolidWorks PDM or any other project data management software. Coordination with offshore team and client engineers/ managers Basic understanding about welding procedures and welding selection for sheet metal and structural parts. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
