(HATCI) is seeking a Hybrid Powertrain Fuel Economy Calibration Engineer for the Vehicle Energy Efficiency (VEE) Team. VEE Engineers are responsible for fuel economy calibration of HMG vehicles, on-road and on dyno testing, simulation, data analysis, benchmarking, identifying industry trends, and developing strategies for improving vehicle energy efficiency for hybrid and gas-engine vehicles.
Design,execute,andimprovefueleconomytestplansandproceduresSimulatevehicleenergyflows,losses,androadloadsfordetailedpresentationsCollaboratewithandsupporttheglobalR DheadquartersteaminSouthKoreaSupportextended/weekendtestingandtravelupto25%domesticandinternationally.

CalibratefueleconomyfunctionsPerformtestingforfueleconomyandcoastdownaccordingtoEPAtestproceduresEstablishandsupporttargetsforvehicleenergyefficiency(MPG,MPGe,CO2,&AER)throughtestingandanalysisofcurrentandfuturevehiclesBenchmarkkeycompetitivevehiclesandrelatedpropulsionsystemtechnologiesAnalyzecompetitivedatasetsandassessfuturetrendsinpassengervehiclefueleconomyandenergyefficiency-relatedtechnologiesCollaboratewithlabpersonnel,calibrators,andautomationengineerstoensuretestreadiness,resolveissues,andmaintaintestingcontinuity.Design,execute,andimprovefueleconomytestplansandproceduresSimulatevehicleenergyflows,losses,androadloadsfordetailedpresentationsCollaboratewithandsupporttheglobalR DheadquartersteaminSouthKoreaSupportextended/weekendtestingandtravelupto25%domesticandinternationally.
CoreCapabilities:
