Mechanical Engineer Our client in Ypsilanti is looking for an Mechanical Engineer to join their team. Experience needed to succeed as a Mechanical Engineer 2+ years of design experience related to capital equipment (preferred). 2+ years of experience with Inventor, AutoCAD, or comparable CAD software. 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Degree in Mechanical Engineering What you'll be doing as the Mechanical Engineer Design and engineer pressurized water systems and complete plumbing schematics, including performing core calculations (flow rate, pressure, component sizing) and interpreting mechanical drawings. Create, review, and release final engineering drawings, assemblies, and accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) to Operations. Partner with Manufacturing, Controls, and Project Management teams from project inception through final customer acceptance. Support equipment startup, commissioning, and the development of installation and operation instructions to ensure full compliance with customer specifications.
