Direct hire position with competitive benefits!
Duties:
Manage and mentor a team of 8-10 engineers across multiple product lines, projects, and technical disciplines (includes mechanical, electrical, manufacturing) Manage department workload planning, prioritization, and resource allocation to meet deadlines and project goals Oversee employee personnel matters - includes hiring, conducting performance evaluations, setting individual goals, and professional development Interface with customers - includes leading the execution of customer-specific design projects Review and approve design work, engineering analyses, and technical documentation Provide technical guidance to resolve complex design and manufacturing challenges Track and improve key performance indicators (KPIs), including on-time delivery, quality, and engineering productivity
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or similar discipline 8+ years of mechanical design and/or product development experience (electromechanical, actuator, or motion control/automation products a big plus) 3+ years of engineering management experience Understanding of mechanical systems such as gears, bearings, linear motion components, and load analysis Proficiency using 3D CAD (SolidWorks a plus) Mechanical testing and performance validation experience a plus Ability to pass a drug test and background check Employment stability
Salary:
$155-185K
