Responsibilities
  • Ability to run small projects from start to finish with little supervision.
  • Design custom automated processing systems to meet client requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Designs, develops, and assists with testing all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery.
  • Knows how to source own components with little input.
  • Ability to work directly with clients on small

  • Ability to work on plant layouts.
  • Prototyping, testing, and validation of mechanical parts and subassemblies.
  • Validating subassemblies for Senior Engineer to include design, detailing, and assembly of fixtures for assembly.
  • Analyze the feasibility, design, operation, or performance of equipment, components, or systems.
  • Investigate equipment failures and difficulties.
  • Diagnose faulty equipment or systems and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Coordinate with in-house departments to develop project designs and drawings.
  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, or other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, or maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
  • Strong problem-finding and problem-solving abilities regarding mechanical design issues and root cause analysis.
  • Work with Executive management, operations, project management, sales, and controls on client projects, expectations, and deliveries.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of new technologies to improve the Application's design and quoting time.
  • Work directly with Customers and the Sales Team to gather project information.
  • Design initial concept layouts of new equipment and systems.
  • Review concept layouts and designs with the Customer and Sales Team.
  • Fill in as Project Manager when required or assigned.
  • Create complete project documentation for engineering to include drawings related to layout plans, elevation, data sheets, and project specifications.
  • Assist Sales on technical sales visits and project reviews. Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required
  • 3 years of relevant experience preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
  • Applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of mechanical systems.
  • Design
  • Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
  • AutoCAD and SolidWorks 3D experience.
  • Attention to detail and strong project management skills.
  • Ability to follow through on tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work as a part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask.
Pay:
$55,000.00
  • $80,000.
