R D Software Engineer II Location:
Little Canada, MN•100%
Onsite Pay Range:
$55/hr to $60/hr on W2
Job Details:
Collaborate with software development engineers to understand and contribute to the overall architecture of research software systems. Work closely with scientists, engineers, and clinical professionals to prototype, refine, and implement innovative signal processing and 3D graphics algorithms. Participate in benchtop and preclinical testing to validate new algorithm concepts and software features. Engage with customers and clinical teams to gather feedback and iteratively improve research software solutions. Document complex technical topics clearly and participate in cross-functional review processes to ensure quality and innovation. Required Skills B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus. At least 4 years of practical experience in software development, particularly with C++. Proficiency with Linux operating systems and development tools such as Visual Studio, Jira, and Perforce.
