Duties:

Contribute to the design and development of new and existing power transmission/automation products Create 3D models of machined parts using Solidworks Prepare statics and strength of materials calculations Review and approve engineering drawings and other engineering documentation needed for manufacturing prototypes Provide technical support to Sales/Marketing, Production, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality Control Conduct product prototype tests - including creating test plans and setups Maintain expertise with competitive products, includes technologies related to automation/motion control Conduct peer design reviews Perform design optimization studies

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline (Mechanical Engineering a big plus) 4+ years of product development experience 3D modeling experience (Solidworks a plus) Strong experience designing machined components Statics & Strength of Materials experience Experience working with an ERP system Ability to pass a background check

Salary:

$95-105
