Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and driven Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and test our next generation of mechanical systems. In this role, you will lead projects from conceptual layout through prototype testing and final manufacturing support. You will collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges and deliver robust, cost-effective designs.
Key Responsibilities Product Design:
Develop and modify mechanical components, subsystems, and assembly layouts using advanced 3D CAD tools .
Engineering Analysis:
Perform structural, thermal, fluid, and tolerance analyses to validate performance.
Prototyping & Testing:
Design feasibility test programs, build prototypes, and analyze data to troubleshoot flaws.
Manufacturing Support:
Create detail drawings using GD&T principles and optimize designs for efficient fabrication and assembly.
Quality & Compliance:
Ensure all system and product designs strictly comply with relevant industry safety standards and government regulations.
Documentation:
Prepare comprehensive engineering reports, data sheets, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
Collaboration:
Work closely with technicians, suppliers, and multi-disciplinary teams to coordinate maintenance or design reviews.
Required Qualifications Experience:
[1-3] years of direct experience in a mechanical design or product development environment.
CAD Tools:
High proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD .
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of core mechanics, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science.
Design Standards:
Working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and tolerance analysis.
Soft Skills:
Excellent critical thinking, organizational capacity, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline. What We Offer
