JCI Industries is a leading provider of engineered solutions for pumps, motors, and industrial equipment, and we're looking for an Engineering Apprentice to support our engineering and operations teams. This part-time role offers hands-on exposure to both technical design and shop processes, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to bridge the gap between engineering concepts and real-world application.

Competitive Pay:

This position offers an hourly wage ranging from $20-25/hr, depending on experience and qualifications. What You'll Do Assist the engineering team with drawings, documentation, and project support Help create and update CAD drawings, layouts, and technical documentation Support data collection, analysis, and reporting for engineering projects Collaborate with shop personnel to understand fabrication, machining, and repair processes Assist with inspections, measurements, and quality checks of components and assemblies Help track project progress, materials, and job documentation Maintain organized records, files, and engineering documentation Follow all safety procedures in both office and shop environments What You'll Need Currently pursuing (or recently completed) a degree or certification in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field Interest in industrial equipment, manufacturing, or mechanical systems Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic understanding of engineering principles and technical concepts Ability to communicate effectively with both office and shop teams Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) Bonus (Not Required): Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar) Previous internship, co-op, or hands-on mechanical/shop experience Familiarity with pumps, motors, or rotating equipment Exposure to manufacturing or repair environments Why Join OTC Industrial Technologies?
