Job Purpose This position requires creativity and innovation to propose, prototype, and deliver new concepts and designs related to industrial electronic enclosures in harsh environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design and oversee the fabrication of production tooling as required for company products.
Direct installation, integration, and operational testing of mechanical and/or electronic equipment
Debug, problem solve current and new processes.
Evaluate and improve on processes in manufacturing systems. This includes undertaking Lean Manufacturing, 5s, and Kaizen projects.
Generates project plans, performs budget maintenance, and resource coordination for assigned projects.
Continual development and implementation of process improvements.
Research, design, procure, implement, test, and monitor new systems, technologies, and equipment.
Manage several projects at one time.
Create and maintain assembly drawings, component drawings, packaging drawings & bills of material
Helps maintain outsourced component designs and quotes.
